"As a pelvic floor occupational therapist, posterior tibial nerve stimulation via TENS has been an important part of my clinical toolkit, used to successfully treat patients with urinary and bowel urgency, constipation, frequency, and incontinence. When Dr. Money explained her process to me, what struck me immediately was how intuitively sound her approach is. Because this nerve shares sacral pathways (S2–S4) with the pelvic floor, bladder, vagina, cervix, and clitoris, reactivating these pathways for pelvic health would naturally engage genital reflexes."
"Drawing on more than 30 years of clinical experience and having trained hundreds of occupational and physical therapists, I recognize this work as both credible and consistent with what we see in practice. Dr. Money’s results align not only with lived clinical outcomes like her own, but also with emerging medical research—including recent findings from Stony Brook University Hospital—making this book a compelling, grounded, and important contribution. I watched her process unfold in real time over those months as she put the puzzle pieces for both mind and body together, and I'm thrilled her insights will reach a wide audience."

"I’ve known Dr. Money for many years. When she first came to me to talk about her work on anorgasmia, I was thrilled, in part because of my long and fulfilling background in somatic therapy and women’s health. From the beginning, I was struck by how thoughtfully she was approaching a problem that so many women carry quietly and often with shame. I was genuinely delighted to sign on in co-leading a women’s therapy group for anorgasmia here in our small college town, based on the protocol she developed through her research and clinical experience. As a trained somatic therapist, the mind/body connection is central to my work. I know the crucial importance of creating space for bodily sensation, felt experience, and emotional processing while also attending to behavioral and cognitive patterns. What immediately made sense to me about Dr. Money’s Overthinker’s protocol was how naturally it integrated these elements. TENS therapy with dreamwork builds a bridge between physiology and lived experience kept within the unconscious that I could see will help women heal."
"In my decades of work supporting adults through life transitions, grief, identity shifts, aging, and embodiment, I’ve learned that lasting change won’t come from addressing the body or the mind alone. Dr. Money’s work honors this truth. After reviewing the research on TENS therapy for sexual dysfunction, as well as the established benefits and studies on mindfulness and dream-based processing, I believe she has identified a connection both profound and deeply necessary for women’s health. I also believe in her work, in her integrity as a clinician, writer, and researcher, and in the potential of this protocol to offer genuine hope to women who have written off this part of themselves."

"In a culture where bodies are policed, pleasure is whispered about, and spiritual worthiness gets tangled up with sexual silence, lifetime anorgasmia becomes an invisible burden far too many carry alone. The Overthinker's Guide to Orgasm is sacred work. It gives people permission to inhabit their own souls and bodies with honesty, curiosity, and confidence." - Aimee Heffernan, LMFT, CST (ASECT-Certified Sex Therapist)
"Dr. Money suggested I try dreamwork and a TENS unit, and this worked for me! I grew up in a very fundamentalist religious space where sex was either scary or holy or both and our whole lives were already predetermined by God to be saved or damned. I carried a lot of that fear of lack of control into adulthood. I got married as a teen virgin having never had an orgasm, wasn't orgasming while married either and was diagnosed with vaginismus. And even after years of therapy, leaving my religion, getting divorced...I was liking sex now but orgasms were exhausting and rare. I couldn't come either by myself or with a partner unless I tensed every muscle in my body first. And even then it often wouldn't work..My dream analysis ended up being a bigger deal than I expected: old religious imagery came up that I thought I had already dealt with in my work with my therapist, and somehow my body stopped bracing so hard all the time. I had an orgasm without forcing it for the first time in years and cried. I'm not saying I don't still struggle sometimes and have to tense up first, or that I orgasm all the time with my partners. That still happens but I feel like I've unlocked a new level in my spirituality to work through it and feel more connected to my shadow."
"Dr. Money encouraged me to record my dreams which I did verbally into my phone the moment my eyes opened every morning. Once this process became habit, I was able to remember the dreams in image instead of just words. It didn't take long for me to experience my first orgasm. After only one week, I was waking up with an overall sense of agency and control. From my journal: 'I am human. I have needs and they can be fulfilled. I am human. I can give and receive love, from self and others. I am good. I am whole. I am enough.'"
"I’m a very direct, no-nonsense person and by the time I met Kristy Money I really thought I had tried everything. I even drove from TX to NYC 20 years ago for a crazy expensive cash only one on one session with a world-famous sex therapist to cure the anorgasmia. Nothing worked. Even though for a few years now I'd been able to regularly enjoy sex with my partner, still no orgams. What made Kristy different was that she actually listened and had been through the same thing. Last year she went over all the steps with me. But I am a workaholic so I used the TENS under my desk while I worked instead of doing it during the relaxation exercises she showed me. I also paid more attention to dreams when before I never was able to remember them. I can now! And I had my first orgasms at age 50. If you are reading this and feel left out or convinced nothing will ever change like I was, my experience is proof that it still can."
"I originally came to Dr. Money when I was in college for an evaluation for a possible adult autism diagnosis, and the sex stuff only came up during my interview. I ended up sharing this secret cycle I was stuck in, where I would buy vibrators, panic, and throw them out on the curb because what I thought was my OCD wouldn’t quiet down until I did. With dream analysis and TENS at home, something finally shifted in my body and for the first time I was able to have an orgasm without the guilt taking over. She also confirmed with the testing that yes, I am on the spectrum, which was very validating after so many years of suspecting."
